The pads

1 Tap a pad to launch its clip. An empty slot on an armed track records there. 2 A scene button launches the whole row, 3 Clip Stop stops the track, 4 Stop All Clips everything.

Colours
  • pulsing green: playing
  • pulsing red: recording
  • blinking: about to start
  • dim red: records here

A stopped clip shows its own colour; a scene button the scene's colour (dim grey without one), and white while you hold it.

The big picture

Hold Bank in Session: every pad becomes a block of 8 tracks × 5 scenes of your set. Tap a block to jump there, let go of Bank and you're in it.

Stop All Clips1
What the colours say
  • white: where you are
  • green: clips playing there
  • amber: clips, none playing
  • dark grey: outside the set
Try this

Make a set with 20 tracks, hold Bank and tap the third pad in the top row: the grid shows tracks 17–24.

Tip

While you hold Bank only the pads count: the scene buttons, Clip Stop and the arrows rest until you let go.
